Delioù (means leaves, in Breton) is the meeting of Czech fiddler Jitka Malczyk and Breton harper Célestine Doedens.
n their compositions, they draw from their journeys, and they tap into the traditional folklore and musical roots of Brittany, Bohemia, Hungary, the Balkans, Turkey and Scandinavia.
The music of Delioù is emotive and full of dynamism as well as playing with the silence. It lets you dream, enchants you to dance wildly, and tells a story at the same time.
The main partner of the project is Slovak Arts Council which supported project by public funding.
